Influencer Jack Doherty is facing seven years in prison after he was arrested on drug possession and other charges.
The YouTuber was filming content while trying to get police officers to engage with him in the middle of the road while blocking traffic, according to documents seen by US media.
He was then apprehended, when officers found "half of an orange oval-shaped pill with 3 imprinted on it, consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine", and three "suspected cannabis cigarettes".
In the hours before his arrest, Doherty shared pictures of himself on a yacht in Miami and was live-streaming his night out on the app Parti.
He was taken to Miami-Dade County jail after his arrest on November 15
Doherty was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana (under 20 grams) and resisting arrest without violence.
Possession of a controlled substance is a third-degree felony, carrying a maximum jail term of five years and a fine of up to $5,000.
Possession of marijuana under 20 grams is a misdemeanor, carrying a term of up to one year and a fine of up to $1,000, and resisting an officer without violence is a first-degree misdemeanor which also carries a term of up to one year and a fine of up to $1,000.
If he gets convicted on all counts, he could face up to seven years in jail.
Since his arrest, Doherty was bonded out on a reported $3,500 bail.
He has shared content about his arrest on social media, and even made a shirt featuring his own mugshot.
The 22-year-old has 15 million subscribers on YouTube, where he is known for provocative content with videos such as "I got kicked off a cruise" and "I crashed into a cop car".
He also has a big following on other social media platforms, including TikTok where he has over 10 million followers, and Instagram where he has over 2.8 million followers.
