Harry Styles sparks retirement fears after announcing final ‘Together, Together’ tour dates

He said he has no idea what comes after his tour

The speculation began after Styles sent fans an email discussing the future of his Together, Together Tour. 

He revealed that the global tour will continue into 2027, with more cities still waiting to be announced, but his comments about what happens afterwards quickly became the biggest talking point.

Reflecting on his career, Styles said performing and being an artist is the only life he has ever known, having started at just 16. He then admitted that he has no idea what his future will look like once the tour comes to an end.

“After that, I don’t know what comes next for me, but I know that I’m excited to find out,” Styles said.

That uncertainty was enough to send fans into a frenzy, with some joking that he was “soft launching his retirement”. 

Others questioned whether he could disappear from the spotlight for another extended period, similar to the break he took after his 22-month Love on Tour ended in July 2023.

Styles eventually returned with his fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., while also entering a relationship with actress Zoë Kravitz.

For now, there is no sign that he is stopping. Styles is still expected to perform in Melbourne and Sydney later this year, followed by the currently unannounced 2027 shows.
