A woman and five-year-old child have been found dead at the bottom of Beachy Head cliffs, police confirmed. Local media have reported that the child was disabled.
Authorities first found the body of the child, shortly before finding that of the woman.
Witnesses saw the pair go over the cliffs and reported the incident to emergency services. A coastguard rescue helicopter and lifeboat crews were dispatched to the scene.
Last week, three bodies were found at the location on June 14 but they are not believed to be related.
