Police reveal where he was last seen

A 10-year-old boy went missing two days ago and an urgent search has launched, police have revealed.

The boy, named Dougie, was last seen on Tuesday (15 September) in Hoddesdon.

He went missing from the Hertfordshire town near the border of Greater London and his last sighting was on Tuesday evening, Herts Police said.

In an appeal posted overnight on social media, the police said: “We are appealing for the public’s help to trace a boy who has gone missing from Hoddesdon”.

The boy is described as short as and of stocky build. He has dark brown hair and wears gold jewellery often.

“We understand people are concerned and want to help, particularly in light of recent events”, Hertfordshire Police said.

“Every missing person investigation is different and enquiries are tailored to the individual circumstances of each case.”

“We remain focused on finding Dougie and are grateful for the public’s continued support”, the police added.

As officers are growing increasingly concerned for Dougie’s welfare, they urged members of the public to share the appeal.
