This zoo advertised 90 minute bus ‘child predator’ tour tickets on official website

One UK zoo has been the talk of the town with a less-than-favourable blunder after naming their 90 minute bus ride as a ‘child predator tour’ in a promotion aimed to boost online ticket sales.

Zoo officials have come forward in blaming the computer error after many visitors described the name of the tour as “sinister”.

A spokeswoman said the error was "due to our default naming convention in our system", which was promptly changed upon noticing the mistake.

Chester Zoo’s effort to promote their bus tour gazing upon Sumatran tigers, lions, rhinos and Komodo dragons were met with much backlash and comments on the quite avoidable blunder.

With many wondering how the name got approved in the first place, one online visitor remarked hoping that “this has been cleared by Cheshire Police”.

And the cherry on top? “Child predator” tickets were listed at £25, while “Adult predator” tickets came to £30.
