The UK is set to heat up very soon as a heatwave looks to be on the way.
According to the BBC, temperatures are set to rise over the weekend.
By Sunday, England and Wales should be enjoying temperatures ranging from 16 to 21 degrees.
Scotland and Northern Ireland will stay cooler and remain more unsettled.
Progressing into next week, temperatures will rise all over the UK, with Wednesday and Thursday being the peak of the good weather as temperatures could hit 26 or 27 degrees in the south east.
Both the London and Manchester marathons will be taking place on Sunday, and runners can expect to feel the rise in temperature.
At the beginning of the London marathon it is expected to be around 13 degrees, however for those finishing in the mid-afternoon it could be as hot as 21 degrees.
In Manchester, conditions are expected to remain dry as temperatures peak at around 20 degrees.
The upcoming weather will be the warmest of the year so far and the warmest since early September. With the climate warming all the time, a swing in temperature around spring time is expected to become more common.
The good weather is expected to last until the end of next week, however it seems as though temperatures will start to drop off before the next Bank Holiday weekend.
