Christmas bonuses feel a little bit like winning the lottery even when the amount is minimal.
Although when the bonuses are six figures, it pretty much is the lottery. Hilcorp Energy in Houston, Texas have had such a profitable year, they are offering their employees a bonus of $100,000 - each.
That's right. Every one of the 1,381 employees is receiving a $100,000 - a grand total of $138,100,000.
So many questions spring to mind. So the bonuses don't differentiate between junior and senior staff? You'd be p*ssed if you were an intern.
