Many unconfirmed reports have flooded social media and very little is known for certain. However, it is confirmed that emergency services have been dispatched to both London Bridge and Borough Market. Police have also responded to an incident in the Vauxhall area. It is also confirmed that there have been several injuries as a result of a van hitting pedestrians on the capital's landmark bridge. https://twitter.com/SkyNews/status/871137723574173697 The Telegraph has published reports of shots fired near The Shrad on Southwark Street, and have further reported that police on the scene told everyone to "run." Buildings surrounding London Bridge have also been evacuated. https://twitter.com/JOE_co_uk/status/871122059652411393 There have been no official reports yet regarding casualties, but it is clear from the attending paramedics and active police role in ordering evacuations that the situation is both serious and ongoing. https://twitter.com/metpoliceuk/status/871121909060075520 https://twitter.com/metpoliceuk/status/871128438593253376 The police have stressed the importance of accurate information, and as such we will not be reporting on social media speculation. https://twitter.com/metpoliceuk/status/871135220833144832 https://twitter.com/metpoliceuk/status/871135344879697920 https://twitter.com/metpoliceuk/status/871135423048896516
