
For too long Britain has been ravaged by storms too cowardly to name themselves.
Finally, the Met Office has decided to team up with Ireland's Met Éireann to start naming the storms that hit Britain and Ireland as an attempt to raise awareness about dangerous weather events.
But naming things is hard, so they've asked the public to help them out a bit by tweeting using the hashtag #nameourstorms. Here are some of our favourite responses so far:
