The 10 happiest place to live in the UK have been revealed.
We often don't think of the UK as the happiest of places, with our rainy country often making itself onto lists of the most miserable places in the world.
Despite this stoic pessimism many Brits possess, there will always being a number one spot for happiest place in the country, such is the nature of a list.
This latest ranking comes via Rightmove's Happy at Home survey who asked more than 19,500 people across 200 areas about employment opportunities, access to desirable jobs and living close to friends and family.
Now, the estate agent has revealed the top 10 places to live in the UK, and quite frankly its a pretty good spread.

Bronze medal spot goes to the London borough of Camden, a centre for arts, culture and markets.
While Camden was the only area in the top 10 with an average house asking price of over £1million, it makes up with local services, amenities and vibrant local surrounding.
The average asking price in Camden is £1,036,768 with the average rent asking price being £3,523.
Of course London wages help offset these goliath numbers.

It's no surprise to see two popular London areas make the podium, especially with the quality of life both Camden and Richmond bring to the table.
Richmond comes in cheaper than Camden in the average house asking price category at a bargain £942,522...
Meanwhile, the average rent asking price is £3,189.
Residents of Richmond ranked it highly for its access to nature and essential local services, as well as amenities such as restaurants and shops.

Despite the other two podium places going to Greater London, Yorkshire wins out overall with Skipton being crowned the happiest place to live in the UK.
Skipton has its own medieval castle, plenty of independent shops and even its own building society!
The Yorkshire market town ranked highly on affordability, friendliness and access to services in the survey.
Meanwhile, it has some of the most reasonable house prices in the top 10, with an average asking price of £326,093 and average monthly rent asking price of £1,038.
