A teenage girl lured a boy to a train station over a pair of trainers where she stabbed him while filming the attack on his own phone.
The 15-year-old victim had recently had a row with Joyce Lusadisu, then 17, when he received a message from an unknown man asking to buy a pair of trainers.
Inner London Crown Court was told the boy arranged to meet with the man at Mitcham Junction Railway Station at around 8pm on November 12, 2021.
When he arrived at the station he was confronted by a group of three or four masked men and Lusadisu, now 19.
One of the men threatened the victim with a 15-inch Rambo knife and ordered him to hand over his coat, shoes and unlocked phone, the court heard.
The group then filmed as they punched and kicked him in the head and body, before Lusadisu stabbed him twice in the thigh and ankle with an eight-inch knife.
Prosecutor Kieran Smith said one of the men then pressed the Rambo knife to the victim’s chest before another member of the group said “it’s not worth it”.
Lusadisu and the group then fled as the victim collapsed in a pool of blood. Members of the public came to his aid and he was rushed to hospital.
His phone was later recovered from Mitcham cricket green and returned to the victim, who was horrified to find the video of his own attack.
The victim’s mum described the horrifying moment she received a phone call to say her son had been stabbed.
She said: “These were the words I was most scared of hearing."
Stephen Akinsanya, defence counsel for Lusadisu, said his client has been surrounded by violence her entire life, including being stabbed twice.
Mr Akinsanya said Lusadisu became associated with people in gang activity as a means of fitting in.
Members of these gangs often encouraged her to commit random acts of violence in order to prove herself.
She had pleaded guilty to robbery, possession of a knife and wounding with intent.
She appeared at court for sentencing via a video link from HMP Downview in Sutton, where she is serving a 30-month sentence for a knifepoint robbery committed in July 2021.
Judge Daniel Fugallo told Lusadisu: “The awful reality is that stabbing someone, even in the leg, can open a vein or artery and lead to serious injury and even death.
"So the reality is that this awful case you’re involved in could easily be a murder case.”
He sentenced Lusadisu to 45 months in custody on Wednesday (May 10), to run concurrently with the 30-month sentence she is currently serving.
None of the other participants in the attack have been arrested.
British Transport Police’s investigating officer in the case, DC Ross McAlpine, said: “This was a particularly nasty act of violence which left the 15-year-old victim with significant injuries to his leg which, on another day, could have been far more serious.
“I’m pleased with the custodial sentence handed down, and that the criminal behaviour order will prevent Lusadisu from stepping foot on the railway for five years.
“We’re committed to apprehending anyone intent on carrying a weapon and robbing people on the railway, and we’ll do everything in our power to ensure they face justice.
