Keir Starmer and EU leaders have issued Putin an assertive new threat and claim to have Trump's support.
The British Prime Minister has threatened Putin, saying he has just 24 hours to sign a 30-day unconditional ceasefire.
In Kyiv today, Starmer met with leaders from France, Germany, Poland and Ukraine for peace talks, discuss how to put pressure on Moscow to end his deadly war.
Additionally, the PM insisted that should the ceasefire fail spending for Ukraine would increase and further sanctions would hit Russia.
Starmer stated that European leaders were 'calling Putin out', and that there were 'no more ifs, or buts' over peace.
Leaders are hoping for a ceasefire to begin from Monday, with the British PM saying: "If he's serious abut peace then he has a chance to show it now."
Furthermore, he revealed that the leaders spoke to US President Donald Trump before and after their meeting.
He said that the Trump was on board with their plan.
Speaking on his strong stance against Russia, Starmer stated: "There's only one country that started this illegal conflict and that was Russia and there's only one country that stands between peace and that's Russia."
