A man was arrested over the killing but found not guilty of murder or manslaughter

Shocking footage shows groups of men carrying out brutal street beatings – before a teenager was stabbed and later died in hospital.

The video, released following the prosecution of six men for violent disorder, shows thugs launching the “senseless” attacks in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in April last year.

Muhammed Mujahid Hussain, 19, sustained a single stab wound during the incident, and later passed away in hospital. Although a man was arrested in connection with his killing, he was found not guilty of murder and manslaughter at a trial last year.

During one terrifying clip, several men can be seen leaping out of two white vehicles, before they start punches people standing on the kerbside.

While in another, a hooded man can be seen using a metal club to strike a car window, before pummeling a passenger with it while the driver looks on.

A final clip shows a masked man being mowed down by a passing motorist after he runs out into the road with another person who appears to be carrying a weapon.

Following the violent incident, five men from Bradford pleaded guilty to violent disorder or affray, while another was prosecuted after a trial.

Mujahid Shah, 20, and Danyal Majid, 19, Saif Shah, 18, all admitted violent disorder and received 18 month, eight months and 13 months in a young offenders institute.

Zain Mahmood, 21, admitted violent disorder and was sentenced to 15 months suspended for two years. Javeed Khan, 21, admitted affray and was sentenced to three months, while Umar Shehzad, 24, was found guilty of violent disorder after a trial and sentenced to 21 months in jail.

Detective Superintendent Vanessa Rolfe, said he hoped the prosecutions sent a “strong message” that violent disordered wouldn’t be tolerated.

He said: “The death of Muhammed is another tragic reminder to us all of what can happen when knives are used in violent confrontations.

“His death was senseless and could so easily have been avoided. “Knife crime can have terrible consequences and in this case has caused a young man to lose his life and left a family with a lifetime of grief.

“I hope this sends a strong message that we will not tolerate violent disorder on our streets, and there are serious consequences for being part in these incidents. “Our sympathies remain with Muhammed’s family for their tragic and needless loss.”
