Sainsbury’s is selling pigs in blankets sushi for Christmas and the internet is divided

Well, depending on the open-mindedness of your palate, that is. As most supermarket chains begin to tease out their tasty Christmas grub offerings, Sainsbury's has released details of one unusual food item that caught our eye - pigs in blanket sushi. This oriental-twist on a December 25 staple sells itself as pigs in "snowy" sushi rice blankets, wrapped in cranberry sauce and nori seaweed, all topped off with more cranberry sauce and a sprinkling of crispy onions. What you reckon - tickling your taste buds? Available for just £3, these porky party favourites join some other fish-based festive dishes like the crab and lemon mousse pot which features layers of crab and lemon mousse, garnished with bits of white crab meat. The orange supermarket chain is even offering a up a whole, ready-to-eat lobster for just £12. Bargain, that.
