Putin on the splits: Russian premier to take up Yoga

What do you get the man who has everything? In the case of Vladimir Putin, the answer seems to be yoga lessons.

The President of Russia admitted in a meeting with India's leader Narendra Modi: "I have tried many things, but never yoga." For a man whose hobbies have been known to include judo, fishing and horse riding, it seems surprising that Putin hasn't added yoga to his repertoire, but he has his reasons. He seems to be a quick learner, though, and we expect him to master poses like the downward dog and one-legged king pigeon in no time. Of course, he shouldn't try to show off from the get-go, otherwise people might wonder if the humility was just a case of him Putin it on.
