Watch the awkward moment Prince Harry was invited to honeymoon in Antigua

Didn't get the memo...

Prince Harry, as we discovered a couple of weeks back, has a new girlfriend.

His relationship with American actress Meghan Markle is in its early days, but the Prince let the world know that he was far from impressed with the media’s reporting of the matter in a strongly-worded statement.

Having made his feelings clear, at least Harry could put the matter to the back of his mind on his Royal visit to the Caribbean this week… or so he might have thought.

In Antigua on Monday, Harry met up with the country’s leader, Gaston Browne, who clearly didn’t get the memo about steering clear of talking about Harry’s new relationship.

In a speech to the prince and a few hundred guests, Gaston talked up Antigua’s popularity with honeymooning couples to a stony-faced Harry, going as far as to invite him and his future wife to do so on the island.

“I understand that there may be a new addition to the Royal Family very soon,” he said.

“I am told that there may be a princess and I just want to say that should you make the decision to honeymoon then Antigua and Barbuda want to welcome you.

“We have been voted consistently as the best honeymoon destination in the Caribbean and one of the best in the world so there will be nowhere in the world as special to spend your honeymoon when that day arrives.”

Here’s a clip of the awkward footage… Just look at Harry’s face.
