A flight was forced to make an unscheduled landing after a passenger discovered a mouse in their in-flight meal.
The shocking incident took place on Wednesday on a Scandinavian Airlines flight from Oslo to Malaga.
But he flight had to make an emergency landing in Copenhagen when the rodent was discovered in a passenger's meal.
The incident was detailed in a post on Facebook by passenger Jarle Borrestad, the Mirror reports.
He wrote: "Believe it or not. A lady next to me ... opened her food and a mouse jumped out."
He also shared a picture of himself with two women on the flight, all smiling.
Speaking to the BBC, Borrestad said he pulled his socks over his trousers to stop the mouse running up his leg, but said the atmosphere was pretty calm on the flight.
Scandinavian Airlines said the mouse represented a significant safety risk because of the damage it could have caused to the aircraft's electrical systems.
After being stuck in Copenhagen for a few hours, passengers were eventually placed on another flight to Malaga.
Oystein Schmidt, spokesperson for SAS, said: "This is something that happens extremely rarely. We have established procedures for such situations, which also include a review with our suppliers to ensure this does not happen again."
