There's a feature on your iPhone that tracks your frequent locations and records the times and dates you visit each of these locations. But, in case you're really worried about this slightly intrusive feature, it's quite easily turned off... Apple say that this information is stored only on your phone and that it's only used to run services like traffic routing according to Tech Insider. While we're sure that there are other apps recording where and when we go places, this intrusion bothered us a little, so we've decided to create a step by step guide on how to turn off this feature. In settings on your iPhone, select "Privacy". Next you click on "Location Services". Scroll down a small bit in location services and select "System Services". Then click into "Frequent Locations". Here is a small list of places that this iPhone user has visited frequently, there will most likely be even more locations stored on your iPhone. You can click on the addresses and it will open a map of the area, here you can view when you were in each location in greater detail. To turn off this feature, simply flick the slider to the off position.
