According to Sky News, local police in the French capital say that there has been multiple shootings across the city and two explosions.
One of the shootings is believed to have taken place in the Bataclan theatre where over 100 hostages are now being held with witnesses claiming that two armed men entered the building and began to open fire.
11 people are also said to have been killed near a restaurant in the 10th arrondissement. In the 10th arrondissement - not far from the offices of magazine publisher Charlie Hebdo - police say 11 people were killed near a restaurant. Some other reports have claimed that a separate shooting has taken place at the Central Les Halles shopping mall.
