One of the victims explained to Globo that she was invited to a party with Neymar in Barcelona and was given assurances that she would be given fast-track papers for herself and a friend to get into Spain.
Having agreed to speak with the man she mistakenly believed to be Neymar on video link, she was then asked to undress in front of the camera.
"At first I said no, then I went down to just some little panties and a bra. I really thought that would be it.
"Then we got a little dazed and..."
The video of the women was then used to blackmail them, before Brazil's cyber-police (DRCI) were alerted to the situation.
Traced back to an internet cafe, Rodrigues was arrested.
