Morris, the alligator from Happy Gilmore, has died at over 80 years old.
According to a Facebook post from Colorado Gator Farm, the alligator who starred in movies such as the Adam Sandler classic as well as Dr Dolittle 2, was active in the industry from 1975 until 2006.
The farm wrote on Facebook: “He retired to live out his days at Colorado Gators. His exact age was unknown, but he was 9 feet long in 1975 and by his growth rate and tooth loss, we can estimate his age at over 80 years.”
In a separate post, the farm shared that they decided to get have the gator taxidermied so that 'he can continue to scare children for years to come'.
"It's what he would have wanted," they said.
The farm continued to say that they 'made a video of his weight so folks could understand how massive he really was'.
