McDonald's monopoly is returning next month with an exact return date confirmed for one of the fast food chain's most popular events.
The peel-and-win game will return to McDonald's restaurants 4 September and, if the prizes are anything else like last year, diners will have the chance to turn their Big Mac and fries into an electric Mini Cooper or a holiday away in the sun.
The competition will run for six weeks and end in October.
The promotion with the cult monopoly board game was launched back in 2005, but has been ongoing in America since 1987.
The game works on the basis of collecting stickers similarly to collecting properties in the board game, at which point the player can cash in for whichever award they won.
Of course, like in monopoly, some properties are worth more than others with the more valuable colours on the board, being the most valuable and rarest in the McDonald's game.
The honour of this title of course falls to Mayfair and Park Lane and are always the most sought after stickers.
Some rewards are won instantly without needing to collect stickers, while larger rewards require a full set.
