McDonald’s is testing new all-day breakfast Happy Meals

When's it our turn?

Ben Kenyon

If you thought McDonald’s breakfast couldn’t get any better, you’d be wrong.

When everyone’s favourite burger joint announced it was launching the long-awaited  all-day breakfast in the US, it was manna from heaven for fast food fans.

Who wouldn’t want to be able to buy an Egg McMuffin any time you fucking want?

While we’re still sat here waiting in hope for it to be rolled out in the UK (and we’re not holding our breath yet) the US have stepped breakfast up another notch.

Now McDonald’s is testing out all-day breakfast Happy Meals and we couldn’t be happier for them (those lucky swines).

They’re trialling the famous kids’ boxes with either two McGriddles cakes or an egg-and-cheese McMuffin in selected US restaurants.

There’ll also be the option of apple slices, yoghurt, hash browns – and fries, later in the day.

If they’re a hit – which we pretty much guarantee they will be – then every Maccies in America will be selling them…and after that, who knows what could happen (we’re still waiting, Ronald).

It’s the first time in 30 years there’s been anything breakfast-related in a Happy Meal, which were invented way back in 1979.

The Egg McMuffin also celebrates its 45th birthday this year. We’re sure everyone in Britain would like to help celebrate the milestone by eating a shit load of them after 10:30am.
