The money-saving expert put the ex-I'm A Celebrity contestant to task after she urged people to stop catastrophising the cost-of-living crisis. Sat in front of a life-size cardboard cut-out of Boris Johnson, Currie said people should get used to the idea of putting on an extra jumper this winter as families face a gruelling spike in energy bills. She also held up some foil-lined insulating that you can put behind your radiator, much to the bemusement of other guests on the show, who were quick to point out that prices are set to rise by 250 per cent, not 2 per cent.
