Man hit by train at Clapham Junction, air ambulance called

The incident happened just after 10am on Friday morning

The incident happened just after 10am on Friday morning

A man was hit by a train on platform 13 at Clapham Junction on Friday.

Police and ambulance services rushed to the scene with an air ambulance called in too.

The train was a Southern Rail service and delays up to 25 minutes are now expected across all platforms.

In a statement to JOE, the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Clapham Junction station at 10.23am this morning following reports a person had been struck by a train.”

“The incident is not thought to be suspicious.”
