A man was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning after being stabbed and having a "corrosive substance" thrown over his face on a busy north London road. The 21-year-old victim was discovered by paramedics and police at around 2:30am on Stoke Newington High Street. He was found with cuts to his hands believed to have been caused by a knife and the substance in his face, Met police said. The London Fire Brigade also attended the incident. "The man has been taken to an east London hospital," a Scotland Yard spokesperson said. "His injuries are not being treated as life threatening or life-changing." No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
