All the old and new faces as Andy Burnham announces cabinet overhaul

A new look cabinet for a new look government

The 'King of the North' was officially asked by the actual King today to form a government, as is tradition, with Keir Starmer tendering his resignation.

With this, Burnham wasted no time getting to work, cleaning out Starmer's stuffy old cabinet and calling in a number of old and new faces to replace them.

Some of the biggest names on Burnham's 'sack list' was Chancellor Rachel Reeves and Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy.

Others include the likes of Darren Jones and Liz Kendall while others stepped down on their own accord.
