Lewis Capaldi’s new video sparks TikTok trend as fans break down in tears

The video follows a postman named John and his beloved scruffy dog called Willow

The West Lothian singer, 26, released his new track Wish You The Best last month accompanied by an equally emotional music video.

The singer even described the track as one of "the saddest songs I've ever written".

Lewis previously explained: “It’s a song about what we don’t say to those people. I was fascinated by the things left unsaid, whether that be in a relationship or a friendship.”

And judging by the reactions on social media, he may well have a point.

An emotional video - released just two weeks ago - has already racked up over 12 million views on YouTube.
