These weapons will be used only if our society is threatened.” The incendiary rhetoric follows several months of back and forth between the US and North Korea, which saw North Korea threaten to strike the US island of Guam with inter-continental ballistic missiles. Going on past form, it seems safe to assume that we can expect another year of that kind of chat from the two volatile leaders.
