Keir Starmer fell foul for an awkward slip up this afternoon after he called upon Hamas for the "return of the sausages" from Gaza.
The awkward gaffe came during the Prime Minister's speech this afternoon in which he meant to call for Hamas to release Israeli hostages.
Despite the clear mistake in mistaking hostages for sausages, the room still erupted into applauds, at the same time the Prime Minister could be heard correcting himself as he said "hostages."
Starmer has been at the Labour Party Conference discussing a range of subject matters, one of which included the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
The Prime Minister said: "I call again for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the return of the sausages… the hostages, and a recommitment to the two-state solution, a recognised Palestine and a safe and secure Israel.”
Many have described the slip up as a 'Biden moment' after the a slew of slip ups and strange moments from the American president in recent months.
