Biden was caught on mic slamming the Fox News reporter

Joe Biden has called Fox News reporter Peter Doocy a "stupid son of a bitch" after he asked him a question at a White House press conference. The president was caught on a microphone and on camera slamming the reporter after Doocy asked him: "Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?" Biden was replied "It’s a great asset – more inflation," before muttering: "what a stupid son of a bitch." Doocy later laughed off the incident when he later appeared on Fox News, saying he had not heard Biden's response. He joked with host Jesse Watters: "No one has fact checked him and said it’s not true." Later that night, Doocy revealed that the president had called him to apologise for the incident. “Within about an hour of that exchange, he called my cell phone and he said, ‘It’s nothing personal, pal,’” Doocy told Sean Hannity on Fox News. “And we went back and forth and we were talking about just kind of moving forward, and I made sure to tell him that I’m always going to try to ask something different than what everybody else is asking. “And he said, ‘You’ve got to.’ And that’s a quote from the president. On that occasion, Biden was left laughing to himself at the podium after the Fox News reporter asked him why he was pulling the country "so far to the left." Biden could be heard chuckling to himself, before describing himself as a "mainstream Democrat."
