JK Rowling's wizarding world may be fantasy but her most evil characters do have a foundation in the real world.
This influence was made clear when Rowling replied to an old tweet from Katrina Pierson, Donald Trump's spokeswoman, in which Pierson shared some very worrying sentiments about race.
The tweet was sent four years ago but it has come to light again after Rowling's measured and insightful reply.
