JCB smashes into McDonald’s in failed robbery attempt

Homenews

The Hamburglar remains the primary suspect.

Irish police have launched an investigation into the burglary of a McDonalds in Castletroy, Limerick. The incident, which involved a JCB digger took place at 2.50am on Tuesday, 20 March. The teleporter damaged the outlet's main entrance, but according to police, nothing was stolen. https://twitter.com/Cooplafocal/status/975998822064312320 The above imaged was taken by Daithi O'Brien at approximately 7.12am, however, the digger has since been removed for examination. It's not the first digger related looting, as a Lidl was completely destroyed only two weeks ago in what is now, officially, a spree. (Unofficially). Lidl, to their credit, reacted sympathetically to the news. https://twitter.com/lidl_ireland/status/976058297651474432 Investigations are ongoing and the Hamburglar's current whereabouts are unknown.
