WATCH: Wild scenes as Irish looters completely destroy a Lidl with giant JCB digger
It's all fun and games until a Lidl gets smashed to pieces.
Looters in Dublin have taken advantage of the chaos caused by Storm Emma and The Beast from the East to ransack a local Lidl store by using a JCB digger to smash through its ceiling.
What did Lidl ever do to them, ey? Other than offer quality European brands at low, low prices. Oh, the humanity.
You can watch the incredible footage below as the heavy machinery begins to tear the building down into the snow.

The looters then proceeded to target the safe inside the store, even attempting to smash it open in the middle of the street as crowds gathered.

Both the Irish Army and the Gardai were called in to respond to the situation, eventually securing the area surrounding the CityWest Lidl store in Tallaght.

The building itself, however, appears to have been completely destroyed by the looters, as you can see below.
