For the fourth year in a row, the Air Race will return to Ascot racecourse. Ascot's course is said to be one of the tricker of the Air Race season as pilots start their lap from a standing start - beginning from the runway instead of a Start Gate like in other locations. With a devious chicane right after Gate 3 and pilots experiencing up to 8Gs from the start of their flights, expect a lot of shenanigans when come race time.
The Brits will be represented by a former champion
2014 Air Race champion Nigel Lamb is representing the United Kingdom for this year's season. Currently sixth in the world rankings, Nigel is looking to make a late charge up the table in the second half of the season. Here's hoping.
