If you Google image search ‘idiot’ Donald Trump comes up and Brits are to blame

James Dawson

The protests have been taken to cyberspace

Donald Trump hasn’t been having a great time of it for the past week.

On Thursday he headed to the UK, where he was made to feel “unwelcome” by tens of thousands of protesters and the now infamous 20-foot “angry baby” blimp. Then, on Monday, Trump headed to Helsinki where he met with Russia’s Vladimir Putin and somehow managed to mix up the words “would” and “wouldn’t” during a press conference where he was asked about interference in the 2016 US election.

All in all, it’s been a bit of a shitshow and if The Donald was hoping to seek refuge online, then he needs to be sure to avoid the world’s largest search engine.

Following a campaign to get the Green Day song ‘American Idiot’ to the top of the UK charts last week, the US leader now appears in a number of the top entries for the word “idiot” with British Google image search users.

Take a look for yourself…

Sure, it’s not definitive proof of his idiocy and it has a lot more to do with the fact his name and “idiot” have been appearing in headlines together following the campaign, but still, given that he’s notoriously thin-skinned about these things, he’s probably better off staying away from Google.
