London Metropolitan Police briefly cordoned off BBC headquarters on Tuesday afternoon amid fears over a possible terror threat.
The area surrounding New Broadcasting House in Portland Street was cordoned off around 2.30pm after police were called to the scene.
Nearby offices were evacuated due to a "suspicious vehicle" reported on Regent Street.
