It's International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia on May 17, and FC Barcelona have made a public commitment to the cause...

The Champions League finalists will sign a manifesto this week in support of diversity and respect regarding sexual orientation in the sporting arena. They have also created a promotional campaign under the heading ‘We play as a team, we celebrate respect’, which includes a video portraying the universality of football. The video includes various players and fans commentating on a goal by Andrés Iniesta. The genius midfielder himself features, as does teammate Dani Alves.
