Every destination Ryanair has already closed or is set to close in 2026 has been revealed.
It's no secret that Ryanair has been throwing its weight about in Europe in recent months in response to rising airport operation and fuel costs.
The airline has always been brash in the face of costs, helping bring some of the cheapest air fares in the world to our continent.
However, these cut-price flights come with a cost, strong negotiating and affordable operations.
If you've ever wondered why your flight to Brussels has left you 70km outside of the city in the horror town of Charleroi, 90 km outside Paris in a field, or catching your flight 63km outside of London from LONDON Stansted Airport well it's because it's cheaper for low-cost airlines.
To operate from any airport, an airline needs slot pairs, dedicated time gaps outlining when a plane is expected to land at an airport as well as depart.
These cost money, and the busier and more prestigious the airport, the more you'll have to pay.
For example, a slot at London Heathrow Airport will set an airline back £5 million to £15 million on average as per a government report, significantly higher than smaller, satellite airports.
This is just one factor for low-cost airlines choosing these airports, including cheaper operations on the ground and greater negotiating power over the airport due to being one of the few income streams for the airport.
However, when these airports raise their costs Ryanair are cut-throat with their response.
With Spain looking to increase airport charges, an increase in solidarity tax in France and rising costs in Germany, Ryanair has been progressively cutting ties with certain destinations.
With this in mind, we've collated the full list, to our knowledge, of all the destinations Ryanair have stopped flying to, temporarily ceased flying to or will stop flying to by 2026.
It's worth noting that some of these remain just seasonal changes, while others are permanent.

Sources have reported that Ryanair is axing around 60 routes across Europe for winter 2025/26.
Routes affected include the likes of Belfast–Valencia, Glasgow–Brussels Charleroi, Leeds Bradford–Paris Beauvais, to name a handful.
Notably these signify route cancellations rather than entire airport operation cessation. Euro Weekly News
It's worth noting that most of these decisions to close hubs and stop flights comes from a purely strategic standpoint of Ryanair, not one of any sort of crisis.
The airline remains one of the world's most popular and profitable, thanks to its cut-throat decision making exemplified above.
How else can they afford to continue to offer flights for the same price as a fancy coffee!
