The man staged a one-man protest out Premier Inn in Bournemouth
A drunk man lay down on the pavement outside a hotel after being denied entry to his room - because he had the wrong hotel.
The unnamed man staged the bizarre protest outside Premier Inn in Bournemouth during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Dorset Police were called to reports of an intoxicated man on the pavement and later helped him to his hotel - which was said to be nearby.
It is not known which hotel the man was meant to be staying at, but Bournemouth has at least five Premier Inns.
Dorset Police tweeted: "Officers have dealt with an intoxicated man who was trying to gain entry to a hotel where he didn’t have booking.
"He laid on the floor in protest. Officers returned him to the hotel he has a booking for over the road."
