The list of famous names set for Biden’s inauguration is far more impressive than Trump’s

Donald Trump is reportedly very perturbed by the amount of famous faces set to appear at President-Elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.

Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Tom Hanks are amongst the big names that are scheduled to feature at the inauguration on Wednesday.

According to reports in the Washington Post, via The Independent, a source close to the President says that Donald Trump is furious that so many big names are coming out to celebrate Joe Biden replacing him.

In 2017, Lee Greenwood, Toby Keith, 3 Doors Down, DJ Ravidrums, The Piano Guys, and The Frontmen of Country performed at a “Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration” concert the night before Donald Trump’s inauguration, with actor Jon Voight also speaking.

Elton John, Celine Dion, Garth Brooks, Kiss, and Charlotte Church were amongst the artists who reportedly turned down requests to perform at Trump’s ceremony. Broadway star Jennifer Holliday was originally set to feature, but dropped out and offered an apology to her LGBT fans.

Ant Clemons, Jon Bon Jovi, the Foo Fighters, John Legend, Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, and Kerry Washington are all set to perform at Joe Biden’s ceremony on Wednesday.

The national anthem will be sung by Lady Gaga.

Joe Biden’s inauguration is understandably set to be a more muted affair, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. A 90-minute, star-studded event will be aired live on most US TV network, hosted by Tom Hanks.

The more formal events will take place earlier in the day, including Biden’s swearing-in, and his inaugural address. The traditional parade will be replaced with a virtual one due to the pandemic.

Donald Trump has been noticeably quieter in the final few days of his Presidential term, of course due to his removal from most social media channels. After his supporters stormed the US Capitol on 6th January, the Presidental was suspended from multiple platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch.
