The British TV star was most well known for presenting
Supermarket Sweep and coverage of the National Lottery. He died at his home on Wednesday.
His long-term agent Jan Kennedy said: "It is with great sadness that we can confirm the passing of Dale Winton who died at home earlier today.
"While we know many will share this terrible loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy at this time of grief."
He presented the family favourite supermarket gameshow for seven years between 1993 and 2000, before it was revived in 2007.
