Tony Garnett hasn’t stopped making headline since he left his partner for Sofiia Karkadym

A dad who left his partner for a Ukrainian refugee they were hosting has now reportedly moved in another woman from the war-ravaged country.

Tony Garnett ran off with 22-year-old Sofiia Karkadym just 10 days after she moved into the family home he shared with his partner of eight years, Lorna Garnett, and their two children, in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Garnett, who recently revealed he is broke after losing work over his new relationship, is now said to have taken in 19-year-old Sofiia Rastorhuieva and her boyfriend Illia Tronevych, 18,

The 29-year-old, Daily Mail reported, took in the pair after seeing an appeal they made on Facebook. The teenagers were said to have been kicked out of their host family’s home in the same city.

Garnett, who released a rap track about his new love earlier this month, told the Mail: “I know people see me as this sort of cheeky chappy who hops from bed to bed because I left my partner Lorna and two daughters. Nothing could be further from the truth.”

His new housemate told the newspaper the couple’s former hosts only provided them with a small sofa bed and made them do washing, laundry and cleaning.

Rastorhuieva said she was glad Garnett and Karkadym had taken them in, “we were very unhappy at that place… We had nowhere to go.”

Garnett’s girlfriend, Karkadym, told the Mail she no longer feels “so lonely” with two more Ukrainians sharing their home.

Garnett has been caring for Karkadym after she suffered an eye infection in Germany as she travelled to the UK from Lviv, leaving her partially blind. He has also been served with a restraining order from his 28-year-old ex.
