Thankfully, the siege situation on aircraft EgyptAir MS181 has come to an end.

The Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the hostage situation at Larnaca Airport had ended via a succinct and simple message on Twitter: https://twitter.com/CyprusMFA/status/714779614476763136?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Earlier President Nikos Anastasiades stressed that the hijack of the plane was not a terrorist act in the traditional sense of an individual acting on behalf of a known terrorist organisation or ideological party, but rather motivated by a personal matter.
