Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa and Deadmau5 lead tributes to Avicii following his death at the age of 28
'A beautiful soul, passionate and extremely talented with so much more to do'
A host of stars from the music world have paid tribute to Avicii in the wake of the sudden passing of the 28-year-old DJ and producer.
Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, was found dead in Oman on Friday.
"Devastating news about Avicii," said Calvin Harris on Twitter, describing the Swedish musician as "a beautiful soul, passionate and extremely talented with so much more to do."
Deadmau5 offered his condolences, noting that "Banter aside, nobody can deny what he has accomplished and done for modern dance music."

Elsewhere, the likes of Dua Lipa, Liam Payne, Nile Rodgers and Charlie Puth used their social media accounts to pay their respects.

Avicii surprised the world by retiring from touring via an open letter to his fans in March 0f 2016.
His publicist Diana Baron released a statement on Friday confirming his death.
"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," Baron said.
"He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th.
"The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."
