Armed police were called to Kensington after reports of a man with a firearms in the area were made
A man has been shot dead by police in Kensington, London after reports that a man with a firearms was seen entering a bank and bookmakers, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.

the Independent, Police were called after a man was seeing entering a vehicle after leaving a bank, with armed officers stopping the vehicle in question at the junction of Kensington Road and Palace Gate at 3:19pm.

The man was left with gunshot wounds after officers fired shots, with the man pronounced dead at the scene despite the London Ambulance and Air Ambulance services being called to the scene.

As of now, efforts are currently being made to identify the name of the man, but Met Officers have since confirmed that the incident is not being treated as terrorism.
