Brave Tottenham youngster plays for Under-21 team despite learning of his sister’s imminent death

Tottenham’s Zenon Stylianides showed incredible spirit as he represented his club’s Under-21 team – despite learning prior to kick-off that his sister’s death was imminent.

Having received a message from his mother which told him that his sister, who had been suffering with blood cancer, was close to dying.

Stylianides reportedly called his sister to leave a goodbye message before taking to the field in the side to face their Chelsea counterparts after being encouraged to do so by his parents.

Having won the game, Stylianides posted an emotional message on social media, dedicating the victory to his sister’s memory.
