"We appreciate that anonymous donor for his generosity," Abbott said, adding that "we will ensure that those resources get into the right hands.
"No family who is suffering from incalculable heartbreak at this time will have to worry about a single cost with regard to anything concerning this travesty."
A total of 21 people were killed in the senseless shooting, 19 of which were children aged between seven and ten years old.

Discussing the response at the time, the governor went on to state that he is "livid" after being misled by local authorities regarding how officers initially delayed "breaching the classroom" while the gunman was still active.
Heartbreaking video footage of parents stood outside the police cordon as officers refused to go inside the building has since gone viral, with many still debating whether the authorities conducted themselves as best they could.
As the investigation continues, it has been revealed that the shooter, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, had even posted a number of warnings on social media prior to the attack.
Abbott insisted that although the "healing broken hearts is going to take a long time", the local authorities and community at large is beginning to "stitch the fabric of Uvalde back together", as well as encouraging people to donate to Robb Elementary School memorial fundraiser:
