100 goats have taken over a neighbourhood in America and nobody knows what is going on

I, for one, welcome our new goat overlords

The goats have assembled

We’re not entirely what has happened here, but it appears that a large gang of goats have taken over a small neighbourhood in Boise, Idaho.

As goats do, they are just sort of milling about and eating stuff.

Scenes haven’t turned violent… yet.

Joe Parris, a reporter for KTVB, is currently documenting the goat outbreak on Twitter in an event is dubbing ‘Goat-a-Palooza 2018’.

What do the goats want?

Well, that is still unclear, but one can assume grass. And lots of it. As well as some of those pellets that goats chomp out of your hand like they have never, ever experienced the joy of eating before.

Where have they come from? Who knows. There is quite possibly a bemused assistant goat farmer out there somewhere who is currently missing roughly 100 goats and is now facing an abrupt sacking from his boss.

Update:

The goats, fittingly, belong to a company called “We Rent Goats”, a unique business proposition if I’ve ever heard one, and have now been collected from the Boise suburb.

I hope they had a good day out, I really do. The goats deserve that at least.
