BTS have confirmed their return, which includes a world tour for 2026 – and this is everything we know so far.
The K-pop band took part in a livestream on the WeVerse platform, which marked the first time that all seven members have reunited onscreen since completing their mandatory military service.
They've been on hiatus since 2022, with individual members releasing solo music, and the likes of Jin and J-Hope embarking on solo tours.
During the livestream the group confirmed that they'll be returning with new music, and although there's no official release date, they said and album will arrive in spring 2026.
BTS said: "We'll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music.
"Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member's thoughts and ideas. We're approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started."
As well as the album, BTS have also teased that an accompanying tour will be happening following its release.
"We're also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We'll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you're as excited as we are," they said.
Ahead of this they'll release their first ever live album, which is due for release this July.
The LP will feature live tracks from their record-breaking Permission to Dance on Stage Tour from 2021-2022.
A digital accompaniment has also been announced, including video footage of the tour's closer in Seoul.
BTS went on hiatus in 2022 to fulfil their mandatory service and "explore some solo projects". One of the most recent was Jin releasing his second solo project, titled Echo.
He'll embark on the accompanying RunSeokjin Ep. Tour this year, which recently kicked off in South Korea, and will head to the US, UK and Netherlands this summer. Fans can get tickets for his solo tour from:
